thrilled to announce the results of its highly successful campaign benefitting
the American Heart Association's mission to prevent cardiovascular disease and
stroke. From Nov. 17, 2008, through March 31, 2009, Chico's committed to
donate $2.82 from each sale of its Heartfelt Pin, specially designed for the
American Heart Association (AHA) in support of its Start! Movement, a program
that encourages walking towards a heart-healthy lifestyle. Sales exceeded
expectations, and as a result, Chico's is donating $200,000 to the AHA, a
national voluntary health agency whose mission is to build healthier lives,
free of cardiovascular diseases and stroke.

In a ceremony held today at Chico's Ft. Myers Headquarters, AHA Senior
National Account Manager

accepted the donation on AHA's behalf.
