(NYSE: CHS) today announced several additions to its management team as part
of its continuing effort to strengthen its management team and position the
Company for future growth.

Elaine L. Boltz joins the Company as Senior Vice President-Strategy and
Consumer Research. Ms. Boltz will be responsible for leading the Company's
Direct to Consumer efforts and providing the Company with key strategies on
improving consumer insight and research. Ms. Boltz will report to Scott A.
Edmonds, Chairman, President, and Chief Executive Officer. Ms. Boltz has
extensive experience in retail and was previously employed by Ann Taylor
Corporation where she served in numerous executive capacities, most recently
as Executive Vice President, Corporate Strategy and Chief Marketing Officer.
Judd Harner joins the Company as Senior Vice President-Chief Marketing
Officer for the Chico's brand. Mr. Harner will be responsible for leading the
creative marketing team for the Chico's brand and will report to Michele
Cloutier, Brand President-Chico's. Mr. Harner was previously President and
Chief Operating Officer for Desgrippes Gobe where he worked extensively with
Chico's on refining the Chico's brand and brand strategy.
George M. Reider joins the Company as Senior Vice President-White House |
Black Market Stores. Mr. Reider will be responsible for leading the White
House | Black Market field organization and will report directly to Donna
Noce, Brand President-White House | Black Market. Mr. Reider has wide-ranging
retail store experience working for companies such as Gap, Inc., Polo Ralph
Lauren, and Ann Taylor Corporation. Most recently, Mr. Reider worked as
President of Retail for S. Schwab and Company.
Ronald L. Shulman joins the Company as Senior Vice President-Chico's
Production & Sourcing. Mr. Shulman will be responsible for all aspects of
sourcing and production for the Chico's brand and will report directly to
Michele Cloutier. Mr. Shulman has over 35 years of retail experience. Prior
to joining the Company, Mr. Shulman served as Vice President, Sourcing for
J.C. Penney, Inc. and also worked in numerous executive capacities for Limited
Brands, Inc.
Evelyn Reynolds joins the Company as Vice President-Chico's Merchandising.
Ms. Reynolds will be responsible for overseeing the Woven and Accessories
businesses for the Chico's brand and will report directly to Michele Cloutier.
Prior to joining the Company, Ms. Reynolds was the Vice President,
Accessories, Gifts, and Spa at Coldwater Creek. She also served in numerous
executive capacities at Holt Renfrew.
Mary P. Tucker joins the Company as Vice President-Chico's Merchandising.
Ms. Tucker will be responsible for overseeing the knitwear business for the
Chico's brand and will report directly to Michele Cloutier. Ms. Tucker
previously served as Vice President, Merchandise Manager, Knitwear Division at
Victoria's Secret Direct and has also worked for J. C. Penney and Neiman
Marcus.
